PitchIn only collects what it needs to run your sign-up sheet, and it never sells or shares it.
Everything is stored in an encrypted database (AES-256) and always travels over a secure HTTPS connection.
We never sell, rent or share your information with advertisers, data brokers or anyone else. There are no ads, no tracking scripts and no cookies.
Everyone looking at a sheet sees your first name, last initial (like "Alice A.") and any note you add. Only the organizer and their co-organizers see your full name, email and answers to their questions. Your personal sign-up and calendar links are private, so keep them to yourself.
Your name, email, the slots you sign up for, your note and your answers. Organizers give their name and email. That is all.
You get a confirmation, a reminder the day before, and updates about your spot. Organizers you have helped before may ask "can you help?", but never more than once a week, and every one of those emails has a one-click unsubscribe link.
When an organizer deletes a sheet, everything about it is deleted, including every sign-up. Copies of the emails we send are deleted after 30 days. To leave a sheet, use the link in your confirmation email.
Cloudflare hosts the site and the database, and Resend delivers our emails. They handle your information only to provide those services to us.
To save typing, your browser remembers the name and email you last used on a sign-up form. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere until you sign up.
PitchIn is open source, so anyone can read the code and check that it does what this page says.
