PitchIn volunteer hours
Schedule your volunteers, then confirm who showed up in 30 seconds. Every volunteer gets a printable record with a check code, ready for school community-service hours, scholarships or a résumé. No ads, no accounts, no cost.
Tick "Track volunteer hours" and add your organization's name. Share the link; volunteers pick a shift with just their name and email.
PitchIn emails you a couple of hours after the shift. Everyone who signed up is already ticked, so untick no-shows, fix any hours, and press Confirm. You can add people who came without signing up.
Each person gets an email and a private page with every confirmed hour from every PitchIn organization they help, a running total, and a printable record.
Every line has a check code. A guidance counsellor types it in at pitchinsheets.com/check to see exactly what the organization confirmed.
See every volunteer's total on one page and download it as a spreadsheet for grant applications, annual reports and thank-you nights. Co-organizers can confirm shifts too. It's all part of PitchIn's free sign-up sheets: waitlists, reminders, calendar sync and gap alerts included.
Your record lists the date, hours, activity, organization, who confirmed it, and a check code for each shift, with lines for your student number and a parent's signature. Set a goal to watch your progress. Each school decides what counts and how to submit hours, so check with your guidance office.
Ontario high school students need 40 hours of community involvement to graduate, and can start the summer before Grade 9. From 2025–26, graduates with more hours can get the Minister's Certificate of Recognition: Bronze for 50+, Silver for 100+ and Gold for 200+ hours. Schools no longer keep track of hours beyond 40, so students are asked to keep their own record. That's exactly what this is for. See Ontario's rules.
